Here in the UK the sun is sporadically peeping out through the clouds and we all need something to look forward to. There was a great gardening / horticulture chat on here a couple of years ago which would be great to revisit.
How are you making your space a green balearic garden / millennial Berlin apartment paradise?
I’m about to turn on my LEDs and plant some Asian and Italian basil (takes forever to grow from seed). I’ve got 3 different types of chili plants (habanero, espelette and Thai) that desperately need some photons too. I put them outside, but not sure they’re going to make it. Will try them under the LEDs. Other bits and bobs too I’m sure.
Been nursing this all winter. Kaffir lime that’s grown from seed. Planted 10, 2 germinated, 1 survived.
It grew quite strongly and has even managed a few shoots over winter. Can’t wait to get it out in the sun. I’ve debated getting it a grow light but not quite got round to it. Any recommendations, also for a heat mat?
It’s looking really healthy there. It’s obviously loving the perlite.
I don’t remember the make of my led. It was a cheap one from China. I ended up having to replace the electronics in it because the fan died. It’s now indestructible after being fixed by an expert (not me!). It got gutted.
