Trainers/Sneakers

I recently had to buy a new pair of hiking boots in a hurry and had no time to break them in. I thought id definitely get blisters as a result.

However, these are the comfiest boots I’ve ever owned and I’d recommend them very much. The toe box is roomy (in a good way), so your tootsies will be happy campers. They’re called Altra Olympus 6.

Are they zero drop too? I’ve got some of their Lone Peak shoes for trails, really good.

I don’t know what zero drop is JC. But yes, like your shoes, they are so, so comfy. Real game changers for me. Usually, at the end of a big hike, getting out of your boots feels like getting out of ski boots. Not with these.

I just googled it - the answer is yes. Zero drop indeed. Which is funny because actually there were drops aplenty.

Liking these better than the green, yellow and black ones that have just come out. These are coming in July.

The ad is a beautiful throwback to the golden age of the 60s, Doyle Dane Bernbach & all that. Except for the copy, which is just word salad as far as I can make out.

Great news. I even prefer these to the actual Mars Yard 3.0.

Very nice. I got these with the orange swoosh and the bit at the top that touches your socks (there’s probably a technical term) is very flimsy… not worn them out yet but it’s making me anxious just thinking about it. £100 and all that

Defo mate. Not a fan of the mars yard ones either. Why are people paying ridiculous prices for them too?

my only gripe is I’ve noticed they have weird text on the inside on the outside if yoU know what I mean.

Yeah know what you mean. If they’re going on general release, they might remove the text maybe.

Reminds me of the Virgil Abloh Off White collab.

I’m a big fan off the GPS, especially in that colour. These arrived the other week, after I did all the challenges last September, been waiting a while. Stung for just over £100 in customs charges though which burnt a bit

They do. I’m tempted to get a second pair.

Does anyone know if ordering from the US comes with huge postal charges?
