Those Northwave sneaks used to be my wet weather flat pedal race shoes when i raced downhill. You could jam your foot in the general direction of the pedal and put the power down. I had two pairs in baby blue, i kinda dug them at the time.
I got a pair of the Flower Mountains as well, so comfortable that i haven’t given them a second thought. Kinda what i want really. They have the vibe of trainers that won’t be remembered in about 5 years.
They also look a bit like toddler shoes…

There are a pair of Nike’s that are coming out that look battered but the more you wear them they look cleaner. Not sure how that one got out of the product design meeting but it’s here.
