Trainers/Sneakers

My kid got them as well.

Full size run still available by the looks of things.

Not quite trainers, but has anyone had any experience with Adidas R3 GTXs? My old hiking boots have had a good life, looking to upgrade. Anyone worn these?

I have some Terrex boots that I wear for work , very comfortable and waterproof as well.

Ive got a pair & great for walking, keep wet out . As lower than a hiking boot not suitable everywhere

Ive had quality issues with Adidas terrex where they seem to get small split & let water in after 18m / 2y but if you bug Customer Service they will refund a voucher
Ive returned 2 over years & latest ones I bought so basically paid for in 2018 which is good going

These seem sturdiest so Id go for it

I live in New Hampshire. These are basically the uniform. Nobody complains.

I did some work with them. Nice Spanish folk.

Thanks Paul, that’s always good to know. I took the plunge and bought a pair. Comfy business.

if i could crosspost this to the SK8 thread i would but it looks like the current lakai folks (read: venture capital) have just completely divested (or have been divested) from crailtap, which means a couple of things: first, cheap lakais in the short term, and terrible lakais in the long term.

skate gossip will wear you OUT!

Kicks are getting returned. They look and feel a bit cheap IMO.

Toe box is another ‘been kicking a wall’ AM1 abomination too. Nah bruv. £145. Not worth half that

Update: Got 'em last month, early b-day present. Breaking in fine, but a bit rough in the heel rub department. So it goes.

I’m the same with NB for some reason. I’m an 8 normally. The 1/2 size down are too narrow and the 8 is always a bit rubby in the heel.

Here is my tip for the one of the top most comfortable sneakers you can buy imo.

Nike P-6000 just supremely comfortable and come in all of the colors. My kid wears his religiously and I’ve started wearing mine more often than not. Mine are neon green so it’s a vibe.

Nike are always comfy trainers in my experience. Always have a pair for work.

Ive got a pair in the bag on the app, hovering, toss up between them and the zoom vomero 5s

I upsize with NB and I’m usually ok but the leather on this pair was tough.

the winterised vomeros are loitering on my cart. 25% off if you sign up with Nike.

So I finally succumbed and bought a pair of the Nike Tom Sachs GPS in white on StockX on Black Friday.

Absolutely love them (even if Tom Sachs is a bit of a douche). They are so comfy and look great.

I’d been wearing a pair of the Maden dupes for a few months and have to say they’re well constructed and very similar to the Nike’s with some small differences. The Maden version has a thicker sole, but overall I’d recommend if you don’t want to shell out for the Nikes.

The shoe is okay, but it’s all about the 80s nostalgia campaign video…
