I really intensely dislike what they’ve done to the AM1 toebox in the last ten years or so. Honestly, look at old pairs, the toe was so slim. These look like you’ve been kicking a wall

agree, they have tried to get them back to how they used to look but still not right. imo these don’t look as bad as some of the other ones I’ve seen.
bought some of the curries that came out a few years ago and managed to get the toe box to look a bit better with some ironing
Just picked up a pair of these for the summer. There’s something about white and green trainers and sunshine.
yeah these look lovely…i can see state on the heel…any more info on them?
It’s State footwear mainly a skate shoe and Day release as someone pointed out lol. I have 2 of the skate shoes really good shoe.
Very nice
I picked up some of these after having to ride my bike into work and then crunching and clicking around in the aesthetically very displeasing footwear all day. They clip into my spd pedals easier than my ugly cycling shoes and the cleat is so recessed that they don’t click at all. Super stiff sole too, so they function exactly like proper cycling shoes. I am well impressed by them. Not a huge fan of Sambas, but maybe they will make cycling versions of the Forest Hills in the future…
I bought a pair of the dayglo yellow last year but sadly they didn’t fit right for me so they went back. I have a pair of Chrome Kursk Pro
which are excellentI’m coming around to them in colours like this, ngl.
Hmmm i maybe would have gone for these if i had known about them, how are they as spd shoes?
Is there finally a trend in cycling shoes that don’t make you look like a complete speng?
They’re great. Yeah these types of shoes for cleats have been around for a while. I had a pair of DZR Ovis before the Chrome that lasted me a good ten years
Just here to troll
Hadn’t purchased new trainers in over a year. Gabbed these Nike Court Vision Low’s last week. Not as comfortable as I had hoped on initial outing, but they’ll no doubt wear in over time.
