I thought it might be fun to have a thread with tunes that address/resonate with your mood, feelings, thoughts about stuff etc. that describes your day, be it the way it sets the tone for it or as a reflection at the end of it. Or as a snapshot/outing of a moment you had. It always surprises me that sometimes with certain happenings or things I see/read or emotion there is a tune that comes up automatically in my being.
You may consider it as a variation on the “A Picture is Worth a Thousand & One Words” theme, but with “A Track…” instead of “A Picture…”. Feel free too to add songs to a situation or mood of someone who posted earlier.
It can be followed (not necessary) with a little explanatory line of the situation or mood you’re in.

My kickoff, about the current geopolitical situation:
Nothing cool or Balearic about this one but I’m sitting here today thinking of my great mate who passed away two weeks ago after a brutally short battle with cancer.
He’d sing this at the piano with my wife.
As the song says: don’t wish it away, don’t look at it like it’s forever.
