Wow, so quick - much appreciated!
Big fave
I have a couple of tapes labelled Café Del Mar 1994.
Very different from the other CDM ambient/soundtrack or acid jazzy tapes I have or that have been posted on the interwebs.
These tapes are more electronic.
I vaguely remember catching D.O.P spinning there, and read other DJ’s had played there too, but don’t know if only José and Phil Mison recorded/sold tapes exclusively.
Now that I’ve talked these tapes up
I don’t have these digitised, but I’ve pieced together most of the tracklists, which may be of interest to some folk.
Just need help with the blanks, if anyone knows.
Cheers x
Ps. Apologies for the awful clip recordings, playback quality of the tapes is still fine.

Coincidentally, Jose’s essential mix from '95 popped up in my YT feed while listening to this.
The original version of The Key, and track 3 on the same tape are both in there.
Should’ve listened to it before!
Model ID (aka Julius) - Basic Paradise
Listened to that essential mix many times back in the day but the tape copy I had cut off before Basic Paradise.
Can anyone help me with this broken beat track at 3mins in, off a Bruk Rogers mix? It’s absolutely killing me that I cant get my hands on a copy of whatever it is…

Got it, sort of. Track (no name given yet) is off Bruk Rogers forthcoming EP on TruThoughts.
does anybody know the track at 34 mins Stream Shakara (4/2/23) by Clyde Built Radio | Listen online for free on SoundCloud
sort of acid house number which sounds like little fluffy clouds.
open your eyes, are you satisfied.
it sounds dead familiar but can’t remember
It’s this one: Frequency X - Hearing things - YouTube
legend thank you
Circa 1990 my friend had a tape of his mates killer stuff & it had a mix of Relight My fire with no or minimal vocals & the piano riff played on synths
I dont think it’s Hi Voltage but cant find any diff remix of Dan Hartmans OG ( Its not the progressive instrumental) but it is 33 years ago
Does anyone know of any other remixes - Its not Mr B or Julian Perez’s (terrible cover)
On discogs there is something called Re Re Light My fire but I cant find on YT
Any pointers?
The tape also had a great disco record that turned out to be Lenny Williams If your in need from Love Current
My mates mate had covered the label but my friend memorized the catalogue number & label & eventually found
In pre Internet days the way to do it!
Hi Voltage is my fave version, and that’s mostly piano and insane percussion.
Quartz - Beyond The Clouds?
No - the version I’m thinking of is same pace but thanks for sending as I didn’t know this - Its ‘ace’
How there is a Italian scream up cover I dont know about I’m not sure

Im tempted by the £2.05 copy on discogs
Thats the other part of Hi Voltage
@Vlad - I think it must be HV & my memory deceiving me I knew the Mr B around this time
Maybe one of you could help me identify this tune -
A 20 yrs old Balearic, dreamy and laidback track, with a toddler singing on top something along the lines of “Bom bel (or bem?) Bi, Abom abom abom, Bom bel bi…”.
Rings a bell?
Can anyone help with this one at 14mins into this (great mix from the old Lovefingers blog)
Long, krauty, spacey proggy one. Sounds very familiar but can’t place it.
