Hi folks
I wondered if there might be any interest in a forum meet up at some point next year. Potentially even some sort of event / party so that we could spin a few records too. I could probably facilitate something in Leeds, though appreciate logistically that might not work for everyone. Maybe a North and South event could work?

We did something similar years ago on Gilles P’s forum. Worked quite well. Canal 125 in KX was a popular one. Pros and amateurs alike given equal slots 30-45min each, using forum monikers. Always a good social too. There was also one at a bar in Leeds round corner from basics? In an alley maybe? began with an M i think. Had an upstairs. Some of us came up for the night (around 2008/09?) Musicwise was incredibly eclectic which added to the fun. Remember us when you’re famous Floating Points!
Great idea Joe, and something I’ve been thinking about as well. If there is anything i could do to help organise something up north, I’d be more than happy to get involved. I know there would be a group of us from Wigan who would defo come along.

A bank holiday Sunday might be good. Although venue’s would be a lot harded to sort out but worth looking into

This would be great, I like the idea of an all day thing where everyone who wants to get involved can have a set, even if it’s a quick half an hour. Would be nice to to put some faces to (user)names.

Gonna start putting on parties at our farm next year- all day family vibe, organic food, nice bar, excellent music (obvs!) and camping in the summer - more details soon! All forum heads welcome of course- if you fancy coming down to Devon
