First 2 are from Vince Aletti’s incredible The Disco Files 1973-78 which is Top 10 Nirvana:
And one from Mr House for the ditch…
I’ve only just noticed that the Scream track is listed as “Fight It, Don’t Feel It”! Although feel free to point out that it’s actually the really desirable bootleg version mixed by Morales
There was a night called Little Stabs of Happiness at the ICA in the late 90s. It was run by Mark Webber. They showed a film then played some tunes. Late 90’s was not - in my opinion - a great time for music, but this night had that ‘anything goes’ vibe that I loved from the late 80s. One night everything was sort of going as planned and they dropped Centrefold. Obviously everyone knew it but it was the first time I had heard it in that context. Blew the roof off.
There’s a good chance he got a fair few of those from us @Sparkomatic
Almost definitely mate, K & D and Nas for sure……remember him buying a lot of hip hop whenever he came in
I remember selling him the Ed OG “love comes and goes” massive Streatham tune
Remember this one, thanks for the reminder…

It’s really amazing how much grade A material is floating around the interwebs like this in a sort of half-abandoned state.
