It’s a song I return to every year. I put the video on and it get me in the feels. I reckon it’s the best thing he ever recorded.

I was having a dig in a charity shop yesterday when Happy Hour came on the stereo, nice and loud, a woman looking at the books near me happily singing along, it sounded great on a sunny, Spring like afternoon.

That list is so me in 1986. There’s little on there i wasn’t listening to, whilst brutally denigrating friends who were listening to early house tracks. It was much more tribal back then.
