Thanks for this mate - checked out Soulgood today - absolutely top vibe. The wife now wants to buy an apartment behind…![]()
Place at far end of beach near Santa E? Other 2 are v traditional ( white linen / old school waiters) and some neo age massage £££ place
We went a few times 2 y ago - Very good
Happy you enjoyed. Sadeedo plays there on Fridays. He spins some lovely stuff. Also, Jaime Fiorito is playing at Dantes Hi Fi at the newly opened Nomade tomorrow. Far North, but lovely coves to explore on the road up there.
Where are you staying in Sardinia?
We are off there on Thursday for a week. Staying near Arzachena.
Going there for a week in August for the eclipse and to see Harvey. Wish me luck haha
We’re just down the coast a bit - Murta Maria
so good
good luck
Amongst all the usual complaints online by people our age i thought this was really nice to read!
Had a great night at Pacha 20 odd years ago dancing to Willie + Pippi in the Funky Room. Nice to know they’re still doing it.
What are again some bars one would recommend to have a drink in the old town (or ibiza city) at night?
deffo Paradise Lost, they moved around the corner. Always top music, top vibe and usually a music head or two
Standard rooftop for sunsets. Not cheap and slightly snotty staff but you might get lucky musicwise
Zaguan for tapas and drinks. I really like that place. A real Spanish bar that hasn’t yet fallen to the Insta crowd
clubwise, Sigma (sometimes decent music - Radioslave played last year) - as good as it gets these days… Maybe Lolas too?
Bai Bai - delicious Basque food down by the harbour. not cheap but delicious steak
I also liked the Asturian restaurant Sidreria Poma on Jaume I. Touristy but not offensively. v friendly staff too, esp if someone has a birthday
and old fave Croissant Show is good for people watching, although it had got pricier last time
Carrer de la Virgen has lost a bit of its flamboyance but it is still fun ducking in and out of the tiny bars
1805 . French bar I think. Good fun sitting outside
and one shop well worth popping into: the Traspas y Torijano botiga on the climb up to Dalt Vila. The most wonderful, iconic couple on the island. Make the most of them whilst you can
This sounds good.
Essential guide to the white island, thank me later for the tirelsee copy & paste effort
The local phrases section especially useful
Nice read that!
Mrs and mates going over on Saturday then over to Formentera for a few days, any recommends on Formentera?
La Fragata or Es Codol de Foradat for lunch
Actually laughable
It’s a lot of La Mumbas
