I’ve got a bottle shop/bar in Loughton, Essex & can attest that the Nolia is one of best nolo pales/ipas around. Track’s Sonoma AF & Gravity Well’s Cosmic Dust AF are worth a mention too. From a lager point of view the Tegernseer Hell AF is fantastic.

Majority of other beers there were on the strong side (my craft beer enthusiast mate was battered!) - I had peaked so decided to go for the 0.5% at the end of the night.

I took a swallow of a mates glass by mistake, first alcohol i’ve tasted in three years. I reckon it was over 6% and I can still taste it now 
Most of our crew were pretty well lubricated!

Yeah, I think the brewers are trying to get 0.5 reclassified as alcohol-free, it’s much easier to make than 0%

Yes. - was just about to post this. Apparently, there is more alcohol in some loaves of bread (up to 1.9%), or if you eat a very ripe banana (0.5%).

Anecdata maybe, but 0% Guinness gives me a terrible noneover the next day and my mucker Pete says the same thing.
I maybe read somewhere they have to do far more jiggery fuckery to get all the alcohol out for 0%.
0.5% seems to be OK though…

just been thru Asia HK/JP/TP, it was high 30s 99.9999% humidity the whole time…
all the Taipei homies were drinking 50/50 7up and soda water over ice with a quarter diced Salt lemon. I must say I’m a convert!

my wife is teetotal but drinks a lot of AF stuff and seems to get this quite regularly from certain drinks - sugar content maybe?

Dialling in new machine, don’t normally drink caffeinated so a double shot has nearly blown my head clean off. Wooooo!

and tea? it seams to be a massive meta shift around me atm. lots of Asian tea/small plate bars opening up, everyone drinking iced tea throughout summer.
