New reviews up on the site by @Pauleast77 … One on Jason Baordmans label by Konformer and a total banger I’ve even rinsing when out called Latrec. Top record.
My interview with the super sound Kevin Griffiths aka Jura Soundsystem and the linchpin behind Isle of Jura is now up on the site in case you missed it.
Such a nice dude- managed to meet him at bar gig when we were in Adelaide this January
Couldn’t agree more, very good conversation and some nice music to come from the IoJ camp.
New mix up from Coral D. We’re going to kick the series into lie again with some fresh blood : )
Loved last weeks nts show @Apiento giving it another whirl now. Top draw stuff.
Thanks dude
Keep missing the lives. Be great if you could remind us here.
Double drop of reviews for some Tuesday munchtime reading.
Jazz & techno long player listening:
This record is a beauty…
Harri Pearson gets the review
Jo Sims on Pamela gets the review via Paul East
This is such a gorgeous record!
Just found out that the NTS phone app does notifications when your faved artists go live.
A couple of new reviews up from myself and @Apiento two sides of summer…
Nice. I’m loving Ms Ray. Bought a track on Bandcamp a few weeks ago called How They Shine which was the first I’d heard of her.
Yeah, that Ms Ray track is great. Like a lo-fi Prince jam
Definitely. Was getting vibes of “Forever In My Life” (and a touch of “O Superman” for good measure… But with a dash of old school Sheffield clonk influencing the percussion - at least, to these jaded old eara - but at the same time very “now”).
In the wishlist. Curious about that launch do on July 20th now, might be in the smoke that evening. Could be a fun thing before heading up to Staffs…
I wrote a few words about the excellent new Love International/Test Pressing compilation from Orpheu the Wizard. No BS, all these have been great, but I think this is my favourite to date.
