Yeah Phil is quite outspoken along with a few other music heads here, putting the world to rights on social media (a whole other thread…) His studio in Poble Nou is just down the road from me. Don’t see him very often though tbh but did have a chat last year where he was pretty much saying the same thing to me about the local music scene. People book him for anonymous, banging things but that’s not him at all. The track ‘Sant Celoni’ is named after a town NW of the city where he was based for a bit. I think the music you get on Leng Records (which I love to bits) poses a challenge for certain parties which don’t normally play that tempo. But you can sometimes hear it at places like Curtis, Salvadiscos and LUV bar.

Hey All. We are starting a new label soon. The first release comes out on February the 16th. The label is made for music that can exist outside of the club though not exclusively.
