Wouldn’t mind that DMX, but only if it includes the Shep Pettibone conga EPROM I’ve been after since forever.

I’m keeeen for a Roland tr727, but I’m also in a fruity dread soca phase and have been dancing to Dimitri from Paris for the last 3hrs🤷🏼‍♀️ got told off by the purists for yelling “les filter Paris - allee allee” in the breakdowns

i used to love the waldorf microwave XT but haven’t used one in forever. more gear should be odd colored, like old muscle cars.

the XT was a brute and would cut through anything, though i’d probably think it was “too trancey” nowadays.

That first one sounds like a new recrording of this earlier production:

I used to be a massive, massive Tenaglia fan (still am in many ways). I caught him a couple of times at Home in the early 00s and were some of the best club nights I’ve ever had. Think he was at his absolute peak, just coming out of the tribal sound into something a bit darker and more ‘twisted’ and would take you on a real journey but before he went all big room.

I think one of my fav E moments was hearing this at Home

He’s also got an incredible ear for a good mashup. Robert Owens over Elements was always genius

And if you skip to about 16.40 in this mix, he does a great mash of LCD Soundsystem with Boris Dlugosh’s Keep Pushing On (less cheesy than it sounds!)

I just listened to GU Athens the other day. I still think it holds up pretty well. saw him play in ministry in early 00’s.
