My eldest is going to see Massive Attack in Liverpool next month. My youngest, who is the more music obsessive of the two, has become a Talking Heads/David Byrne superfan. He has all my TH records (except the 7āās) and is now trying to get a band together. He plays piano and guitar and weāre getting him Korg synth for Christmas.

My 11 year old has just gotten into liquid drum ān bass somehow. Said he heard a song he liked and went down a rabbit hole on his phone. Had an afternoon showing him records by the likes of LTJ Bukem et al and he was gutted when I told him I sold all of it. Had I known.
Heās got a pioneer mixing console in his room and I quite like his car crash approach to mixing and the new tracks heās found by Break, Logistics etc are quite good. Carry on young man.
