Surely one for the 420 thread
Love tea, never with milk. Assam, Yunnan, Genmaicha and Lapsang Souchong loose leaf are my current favourites.
Any tea recommendations to try please hit me up!
I’ve been setting my alarm for 4am for the cricket. I watch on my phone in bed and generally drift in and out of consciousness for two hours until Lunch (6am) then go back to sleep for an hour then wake up for the afternoon session (6:45am) watch that and finally get out of bed at Tea (8:45am).
I ate a Pocket Coffee and it stopped me from drifting back to sleep at all so that was good. I stopped drinking coffee ages ago due to it affecting my sleep and more recently due to reflux. I guess my tolerance is low.
I had considered adding Cricket as a topic for this thread. It’s been an absolute lifesaver for me particularly with regards to mental wellbeing.
I listen, watch and visit grounds regardless of who’s playing. It’s provided a different rhythm to life which I’ve found hugely therapeutic.
That’s good to hear and great news that it’s making a positive impact to your mental health.
But by the description of your sleep pattern, are you sure you don’t have a new born baby .
I’ve never seen these before, but do have a coffee fiend friend always looking for a shortcut.
I’m really not an early riser but this series has been unmissable
I’ve just seen that pocket coffee was first launched by Ferraro in 1968!
I was given a few by an Italian friend recently.
Apparantly my daughter and hers had got through 30 between them one sleepover before wondering if there was actually coffee in them!
Reminded me of a time I bought a bag of chocolate coated coffee beans from Infinity Foods in Brighton and ate the lot walking between the shop and our workshop about 500yds away.
That was a very unpleasant afternoon I can tell you
I’m up for a cuppa, Japanese Sencha or green jasmine loose leaf. Bags don’t do it for me unless it’s summer and I stick a couple in a jug of water overnight and put it in the fridge, just cheapo Aldi ones work fine, no bitterness, I get through gallons in a heatwave. With you on genmaicha too.
