Does anyone have any experience with the Klipsch R-50PM??
Not that model but have had the R41-PM as our kitchen system for a few years now. Fairly light on bass (although what you’d expect for the size) but clarity is great and have been very happy with them. Another mate liked them enough when visiting that I’d discovered he’d purchased a pair when we visited him last…
Any recommendations for monitor stands?
No longer trusting my weak and wobbly metal ones with my Focals
Not heard those but heard a floorstander in the same model range and thought the level of clarity was good but a bit on the bright side. I’d recommend listening before buying if you can.
Isn’t that what Piers has?
maybe Heresy I or II + a basic Yamaha Natural Sound amp (AX/A-series). Efficient speakers so you don’t need lots of power, but that depends on what you’re planning to do with them ![]()
Think @Piers was getting these beauts @Apiento
Klipsch The Nines
Been looking at them myself but they don’t have XLR jacks
Yes, I got the Nines. Very happy with them - just easy, easy, easy. Can play from my decks or bluetooth. A lot of bass for their size, sometimes maybe a little too much but nothing that can’t be fixed with a little EQ,
Nice, thanks all! I was worried the R-50PM would be too small for my space but the nines might be slightly too big… just looking at the Sevens though. Does anyone have any idea where you can listen to Klispch models in a London store?
I think Audio Gold hold them.
Hope it’s ok to post this here - my lovely friend Robin has started making speakers and record weights out of slate. He’s a stone mason and dj so I guess it’s a natural product of his interests. Believe he’s had some guidance from the guy behind Enton Green and they sound unreal…
