Weirdly enough we had a similar experience with Sue Nicholls about 15 years ago at the Sainsburys up on Regent Road when she had a lovely chat with my eldest who was then about the same age as your 6yo sat in a shopping trolley.
I was still at the stage of being quite surprised to bump into random famous people around Manchester who weren’t behaving like knobheads.

I went to school with a mad kid like that, fearless and the first to do everything, he probably had ADHD looking back now but of course back then whatever it was went undiagnosed.
He mouthed off to the wrong person though one day, a brickie, working high up on a building, who threw a brick at him which hit him right in the head and nearly killing him, he recovered but was never the same, much more calmer and quiet.

A mate of my wife is dating the bloke who played Hawk in the original 90’s Gladiators TV show.
He doesn’t like to talk about that part of his life though, he’s gone on to have a decent acting career in several American long running drama series.

Took a walk to this magical spot today, just 15 minutes through the fields from where I live. Local friend Corin Hardy filmed his first music video here which has now racked up 821 million views on YouTube. I was chatting to him in the pub the other night about it, they had to postpone shooting on the first day because of torrential rain and the water was gushing under the bridge too fast. It’s not the easiest place to get to so pretty impressive they managed to get an upright piano down there!
