I’ve just ordered it after a shite day at work. ![]()
Jeez. Its nicely done, but that is taking the piss.
Ah at least it’s getting an offical DFA look kind of release. Good for him.
would really like to buy this via bandcamp, but by the time shipping charges to the US are factored in, it’s damn near $70.
(edit, not sure why it’s not showing the preview, but it’s “sounds from the flightpath estate volume 2” on golden lion sounds)
Should probably be in the Luxury Spend thread but I managed to get it. It was expensive, it was worth it.
Scarily accurate
The Czech joke is very good.
I think tonight could be my last ever vinyl set.
I was up really late last night sorting records for a gig tonight. Then up at 6am to lug my record bag across Glasgow on two buses because I wont have time to go home after work. The gig will definitely be fun, but yeah, fuck vinyl.
Ooh, where are you playing?
Hey. It’s in McChuills on High Street which is my favourite pub in town.
Deadstock written off by another chain store or distributor who didnt know what they were doing but had heard that vinyl was making a comeback.
Hope you snapped up the Neneh Cherry versions
I was gonna say the same thing!
Is it decent?
Love Neneh. Her autobiography is great
Go back and get it ![]()
I know that place, it’s great! I didn’t know they had DJs playing there.
Last time i was in there I randomly picked some old dude on the other side of the bar and told the bartender that every time he tried to buy a drink I wanted to pay for it. The old guy would go to get a drink, be told someone else was paying for it and be directed over towards me, where i would give him a slight nod and thumbs up and then turn away. He looked so confused, but he also drank incredibly responsibly considering he wasn’t picking up the tab.
what were the prices
Can’t tell you how nice that was to read. Made my week.
Peace go with you brother. If I could sing it in the dulcet tones of Gil Scott I would. But if I tried, music would be dead to you forever!
My dad used to say to me: two things you never refuse someone if they ever ask - a drink or a cigarette (if you have one to give).
I think the Neneh Cherry was £15
