Alright TP heads? I work as a creative director at an agency in Stockholm. A certain Canadian outerwear brand known for big parkas is a client at the moment and we are working on a campaign for their SS27 collection. The idea involves using field recordings and I’d need some help rounding up names of people anywhere in the world who do them. They don’t necessarily need to be musicians, almost better if they aren’t. We’re after those obsessive weirdos. Any and all tips are welcome, and as long as these people exist on the internet I’m happy to consider them.

Simon Fisher Turner composes music from field recordings. Maybe too established for what you’re looking for?
He takes his Roland Edirol everywhere and posts field recordings here every fortnight or so. Lovely bloke. DM me if interested

Not sure this guy is going to be particularly aligned with that brand, but obsessive, yes.

My friend James Birchall (a.k.a Rough Fields) is very active in this area, he and his wife Sarah run the artists residence, CAMP in the Pyrenees where many of the courses are delivered by field recording practitioners,
Chris Watson does a week long course annually and their programme includes many other well know artists in this field. Have visited a couple of times and the location is beautiful, mountains, lakes, waterfalls, bears etc
