I’m sure I’ve got the original from where the sample comes from but can’t put my finger on it…can anyone help please?

Here’s an interesting article I read this week on sampling culture and how modern Shazam type tech is helping to track down uncleared samples in tunes so companies and lawyers can buy the rights and then take the producers to court! If I was an old school sampling producer I’d be worried!

If you wanna go even deeper down the rabbit hole, Moton Records Inc released an edit of the instrumental Carl Bean track with the Earth People sample cutting into the actual track just like Longo, which is fantastic and you don’t hear out often. It wasn’t on youtube until very recently but someone put it up.
