I told a mate I would give him a hand in a food truck today and tomorrow… I have to learn to keep my mouth shut in future… I have a new found respect for trucks at festivals now…
What sort of food you selling there ?
Just 5 items on the menu, 4 fish and 1 veg…
Traditional fish and chips
Fish burger
Smoked mackerel pate
Coconut prawn with mango salsa flatbread
Halloumi burger.
In those pics are a special on today that was a mixed sea food spice box. Hake, prawn and squid… Very tasty. The box would do two people and the cone was just for the someone on the go…
Looks like a good menu that mate. The mixed sea food spice box looked proper tasty
It was really good but dare I say the Halloumi burger was really good … It was only the first day and a soft afternoon opening so plenty of freebies for 2 hours, official opening this weekend and Fri - Sun after that… He has a shop just down the road from me and put the truck in the car park…
Had my bday lunch there on Friday… most enjoyable!
Lovely stuff. Happy birthday mate. The big 6-0?
We had Anniversary lunch Saturday at Lyles, bloody epic, be after going there for ages, didn’t disappoint.
Scoffed the Tartare with bottarga before could snap one.
Bit of an Acidic aftertaste though?
Was awesome, definitely reached a higher state of consciousness… dim sum at Royal China, 10 dumplings.
Love dumplings. Went to Dumplings Legend in Chinatown last year, phenomenal stuff
Asparagus, Hake & Lobster then Rum Ba Ba for me!
I had that same three some picked as plan B. Prawn, oxtail and pineapple is my first choice
Just back from visiting a restaurant called butchers in Kilkenny… bloody heck had beef short rib croquettes to start they were unbelievably good… went for the half chicken in smoked paprika and citrus rub… Highly recommend if you are visiting this part of Ireland…
Yes, I know it’s Guy Ritchie, but the roasts look incredible!
