I can’t stand Crowded House or Savage Garden or any of that over-earnest antipodean landfill or those one hit wonders Sam Brown, Maria McKee, black/blue velvet and the rest. It’s gravity free fodder. there’s no cultural context to any of it but it’s always there in some airport food hall.
I have a neighbour on the 7th floor who plays bryan adams every fucking day. you go insane. but she’s deaf as a post so what can you do?
