Last tune on Saturday.

I played this as the last record of our gig a few weeks ago.
One of my fellow DJs asked if it was Stewart Copeland on bongos?
Heck of a tune.

That’s lovely. Do you play the 12" or the LP version? (are they the same?)

I’ve got the LP. It is about 6mins odd long. I wasn’t aware of the 12”.

I did see from a comment on the discogs page that it seems to be a remake of an older Chess 7” record which sounds great in a different way but goes for quite a bit of money.

That’s great, the LP is $1. The single is $5.

Just checked and the timings are exactly the same so I’m sure it’s the same. Sound quality on the LP is good and sounds great on our system.

btw here is the other tune i mentioned

I used to play a Krivit edit of Pleasure (on this pack) which I now discover is almost identical to the original

I mean some tunes just don’t need editing. There’s nothing jarring in the original, it’s a good length and there’s an instrumental break, what would he change?
I always check his vinyl releases and there are quite a few which just seem to be bootlegs of the og. Particularly the edits by Mr K 7” ones.
