‘Stay overnight in The Kid’s bedroom’ sounds wrong, I know The Kid was one of his nicknames but c’mon it’s not the Neverland Ranch ffs

This piece in today’s NYT was sad to read. Apparently the film would be very revealing but the estate people thinking about the big bux are shutting it down.

can you imagine the movie/series?.. I hope the article does what it is obviously trying to do and have everyone consider releasing it.

It feels like the world is owed it

Via princevault.com:
“Fast Freddie the Roller Disco King [1979] was a 12-inch single by Little Anthony and the Imperials (as The Imperials), featuring Prince on guitar, synthesizer and keyboards. The basis of the song was recorded by Prince, Pepé Willie and André Cymone at Sound Palace Studios, New York, NY, USA. Vocal and instrumental overdubs were added later by Little Anthony and the Imperials. The b-side of that single is an early version of the track 10:15, called I Just Wanna Be Your Lovin’ Man. It is unclear if Prince appears on that version too as a guitarist, like on Fast Freddie the Roller Disco King.
Stripped of its original overdubs, but with additional overdubs, the song was released as One Man Jam on 94 East’s first collection of studio recordings Minneapolis Genius. One Man Jam has featured on every collection of 94 East’s early recordings. 10:15 was as released in 2002 on the 94 East album: 94 East Featuring 10:15 & Fortune Teller Remix With Prince On Guitar.”:purple_circle:
