as you mentioned hidden italo-house, here’s one with an ecstatic energy,

and this one, heard it in a shelly laserdome youtube video, played it out once a year or two ago and at the moment it was actually sick:

great tip - I’d forgotten all about this one! I don’t suppose anybody has a digital rip?

BTW - just had a thought to type “Unknown Artist” into bandcamp search and finding some interesting gems. Mainly edits, of course which I usually avoid playing too many of in a set but New Year’s Day is not your usual gig. I’ll post any really good ones below:

O Superman edit done right

20 Minute Eric B and Rakim edit! Ultimate toilet break track - number 2 special haha

not sure what to make of this one

Epic take on a French fave

Picked this up recently in a bargain bin - fits the familiar but different brief, and sounds fresh and well put together:

Yeah, it seemed to have come out almost completely un-noticed, not in any charts or anything. Perhaps people are put off by it being BB, but all that’s left of the original is Martha Wash.
A great opener esp if you want to bully the guy on b4 you

This version is good. Keeps the listener in suspense for 2/3 of the track before delivering the hook.

Heard this played out last night, went down really well
