Inspector Norse still gives me the tingles when I hear it on a nice soundsystem.
(There are a lot of songs that do, this one just came to mind because someone posted Ragysh)

I find some of the biggest goosebump tunes are the ones that bring some unexpected communal meaning. There might or might not be drugs involved but something is stirred. Hearing Revelee at Turnmills or driving through Sussex hearing Roscoe for the first time. Could even go way back to the start, hearing yellow submarine as a child in some playgroup and experiencing a joy that Lego couldn’t match.
Yeh, I couldn’t handle it for a few years, but got the urge to listen to it properly for the first time in ages recently and still got that feeling. Some funny comments if you look it up on youtube too
This on a decent system tends to get all my hairs standing up.
Also this, which just gives me all the feels.
We don’t deserve BGC
Apparently this is playing when you get to the gates of heaven
When the strings come in mid Vince Montana solo on Runaway by Loleatta Holloway, it always chokes me up.
Played at volume, at night, in the woods. This sparkles
That’s a thought I often have when I hear an amazingly recorded record… Imagine when they sat in the studio at the desk pressed played and were like ‘yeah it’s done’
Absolutely! I think there’s probably been quite a few legendary end of session studio parties over the years!
(The end of the New Order Technique album party at Real World Studios according to Peter Hook was insane)
I had the goosebumps moment at about 1am this morning when I really should have been going to bed
The first 60 seconds gave goosebumps everywhere (sirens, pianos, massive vocal hooks, unexpected break beats, what’s not to love !)
This song is my secret weapon when I want to make people’s hair stand on end.
When the saxophone comes in after the percussion break with moaning sound effects at 3:00 it’s as close as you’ll get to a collective orgasm on a dance floor.
…and I don’t even like saxophones in dance music.
This will and always will give me goosebumps…
been in my wantlist for a couple of years now, hard to source in the US!
This one for me…the civic pride is… overwhelming ![]()
When the vocal hits at 4m 26
Also this when Quinn comes in at 4m 36
That’s my ring tone. Amazing track
(I appreciate That’s sacrilegious)
