Music recording software/app for iPad

Hey tp crew

Recently got an iPad as a replacement for my deceased MacBook and would like to use it to record mixes at home and at gigs

Can anyone recommend any good free/cheap apps for being able to record (iPad has a mic/headphone port) and edit mixes?

Garageband! The best of all the iOS DAWs IMO.

Nanostudio is pretty good too (now v2, which I’ve not used)
