The Doc Martin-mixed Shaboom CD that was free with DJ magazine in 1999 was a bit of a game-changer for me.
Another favourite from around then was the Guidance Collection mixed by A:xus that was free with Muzik magazine in 2000.
The Journeys by DJ CDs probably go without saying. They were the first time I’d actually wanted to listen to ‘dance’ music outside of being in a club.
Does anyone remember a 5 pack mixed cds that came with DJ mag mid 90s, there was an 8 ball logo one mixed by John Aquaviva and I think the network mix by Dave Clarke was also in the package?

We had a great Diplo mix we used to listen to in the car, the kids used to request it all the time. Maybe Diplodocus Mix? Might have been a DJ Shadow tribute?
