Mix CDs - what do you still rate?

This one from Optimo. Going from Nurse With Wound to Duke Ellington, Eden Ahbez, Chris & Cosey, and finishing on “Sleepwalk”. A wonderfully lysergic dream. Edit: Youtube link had sound disabled, Mixcloud here

Lots of great mixes already listed, but one I played more than any others is the Billy Nasty JDJ. I saw Mr Nasty so many times at Final Frontier/ClubUK in 94/95, but would have loved to caught him in 93 before he started playing so fast and hard. Still, the JDJ mix he did has a bunch of classic UK progressive house tunes I loved, and it’s mixed with a similar excitement / technique that he used when I saw him live.

Yeah he put in a lot of work…

This was/is one of my favorites too. The “mixing” is debatable, but the selection is top notch.

was this released in a jewel case? i swear mine is in a digipak.

I love The Beta Band 3 Ep’s!

I see that Terre Thaemlitz is selling some of her old mix CDs/recordings via the Comatonse website and am tempted to buy. Anyone have/heard any of them?

That Naked Ibiza CD was a great, especially as it was ‘free’.
