Many years ago in my youth I worked in a small clothes warehouse. We had a guy start with us, fairly posh, called Dickon (?!
)
There were four of us in total plus the warehouse manager. Every day at about 4 - 4:30pm we’d all go into the racking to hide and try and skive and waste the rest of the day, counting down every second until 5pm. The manager Tim was wise to it and always caught us and gave us brushes and brooms to tidy up the place with.
After Dickon started, Tim used to come out of his office with a broom in his hand and scream ‘Dickon… the floor’
