These boot bags were used to put anything in but boots, they were great though.

we got subbuteo at a jumble sale but the instructions were missing so was never sure if it was a bulldog style kick n rush or if you were supposed to take turns haha

My mum came back from a 1980s jumble sale with tons of subbuteo stuff including the grandstand and not only football but rugby too. Rugby had a mad kicker player for conversions and iirc it had a rugby ball shaped thing for the scrum. You dropped the ball in the top and it came out of one of like 6 or 8 holes. Writing this I’m now only 50% sure I’m not imagining it. I’ll have to look it up.

I never had Subbuteo, but when I visited friends places it always gave me a distinct feeling. I think it was like my first art installation. Also loved friends with Flight Deck, Crossfire and Bigtrack, though they were just fun.

Driving in the car yesterday swapping tune selections with my 13 year old and attempting to introduce some history to proceedings. Put on ‘release the pressure’ by Leftfield. She then said, is this the ‘Macarena’?
