My step sister used to go to Montegos in Hudds. Jam MCs every Monday night from memory

They were the deejays at Konspiracy as well (as it says on the flyer) which was one of the clubs the scally/council estate kids who couldn’t get in the Hac went to.
Probably the first proper DJs I ever heard live because they were the warm up DJs for the Happy Mondays/808 State GMEX gig in spring 1990 from what I remember.

Some more from 1995. I was lucky to be staying with Sean Campbell from the funky room that summer :pray: the stories can be shared over a few beers some time :innocent: Jon was still known as Jonathan back then
