Listened to the first hour coming into work today. Nice. Definitely settles into a groove. Some big versions in there. What time of day/night were you playing? Good crowd? Imagine they were loving it.

Listening to this now, sounds like a real vibe

Cheers.

I played 9-11pm, I was second to last DJ on the final night before Eric Duncan. I’d planned out the set, which I never ever do and it mostly landed. It does skew slightly disco-y in places, which is kind of the theme of Mareh, but in hindsight I wish I’d banged it harder because they would have gone with that. I sort of built towards a percussive samba track with the Love & Happiness acapella over it (one of the edits I made), then shifted gears into stuff with more energy because every time I looked up it was getting more and more busy and crazy on the floor.

Back once again with the Loose behaviour.

My Silver Rox show returned to the airwaves last week. Really pleased with how this one turned out. Dub influenced sounds. Downtempo. Left field, percussive house. Cosmic. Post-punk. A touch of acid. Gets pretty trippy after an edible.

Thanks Tom - loving this. I’ve been hammering that African Beat track too - the bass!
