So for some time I’ve been rolling the theory around my head that Walk Like An Egyptian from The Bangles had a generous amount of influence over what would become the sound of LCD Soundsystem. Not surprised to find it popping up on Test Pressing at all

Thanks. Still have mixed feelings but I had the house to myself this weekend and thought best to just get up and record something for the heck of it. No rehearsal, just picked up whatever was on hand near the decks, and the hour went by quite quickly. A few misses here and there but nothing to be too ashamed about, and a few of the blends were new to me and worked quite well.
