I did a bunch of mixes for the Isolation Station in the heady days of lockdown v1.0, this was one of my favourites. Starts pretty chilled for the first hour then ramps up slowly. Ingredients: ambient, new age, Laswell, kosmische, europop, Italo and some deep house ending with a classic.

I was asked to do a Hip Hop styled mix for a friend’s radio show, i couldn’t quite bring myself to play any 90s or 00s stuff, so i did a sort of tribute to the type of stuff they played in the mid 80s at The Roxy (from what i have read).
I used a few multitracks and overdubbed it with a little bit of scratching and other stuff. It’s only 30 minutes, i was going to extend it to something a little longer, but i would probably just start again instead. Or do something else. Or just not bother doing anything tbh…
