just magical. the original was already a bally classic with that very slight nod to Terence Trent D’Arby and now Conrad is unleashed, taking it into more left, trippier territory (piers reviews it far more articulately on the main site)

True, it does, but I’m a big fan of the ridiculous vocal from Captain Sensible riding over the bombastic Chic pastiche on the original though. “it went “bang!”, I said shut up” etc. It’s more ecstatic. It really does it for me…
