in another thread - ask me about “divorce radio”. it’s a whole thing, and i’m pretty sure i could build dozens of playlists based on the concept.
but that’s for another time - for whatever reason i woke up thinking about this really NOT great song that - if - you pulled it all apart and adjusted the chord changes from twos to fours and then extended the verses and pre-choruses and eliminated a ton of the bridges and… well, in short, it’s a 87 FM synthesis banger. it’s not good, particularly - but with a completely different re-arrangement it could be a really good fun chill play.

“why” was a semi-club classic thanks to niles and carly has some cuts but for whatever reason they’re all super moody and for me it’s tough to vibe with a lady who’s born richer than all of us put together.
but still - is this shit balearic? i say YEAH if instrumental or dub style and measured out correctly.

today’s sudden bal-earworm out of nowhere… a few years back, specifically 2007 Moton put out this amazing edit I think by Dennis Kane as Citizen Kane and it was called Spanish Home, based on this where the Animals met Santa Esmeralda (which got legally messy by all accounts!)
