Two things stand out for me about this auction. Firstly everything he had seemed to be very, very cool.
Secondly, whoever was responsible for setting the estimates needs firing :joy:

Ps, it makes me happy that he was a fellow Festoolian.

The price on the Festool stuff isn’t ridiculous either.

Didn’t know he was a woodworker.

Knew he was a cool fucker.

He’s got a lot of stuff hasnt he? All very cool though. My ironing board has just broken so I might bid on the pair of his that are currently at $600 ;o)

one of the best to do it. imagine what could have been, if it were not for all the drugs.

Oh man… That’s a sad one… Though watching the doc about him and the amount of drugs him and George Clinton took it was amazing he made it this far…

Was just thinking about that record and then this news. Such an amazing artist. Changed the game, as they say.

I loved that conversational style of singing he had, his music got me through some tough, lonely times about 15/20 years ago and means a lot to me.

Oh no, not Sly.
Was just listening to this the other day.

The music of my childhood, I remember hearing “Good Vibrations” for the first time and just trying to pick everything apart…what a genius.
