Agreed. It’s amazing

the OG architect of the UK punk sound - so many great riffs. He had a mastery of combining melody with savagery, pop with the perverse .

RIP Chris Jasper. The man responsible for those searing guitar solos on the Isley Brothers’ “That Lady” and “Summer Dreams.”

I always thought it was Ernie Isley who played the solos?

You’re right. Complete brain freeze from me.

I’m going to sit down in a quiet corner and consider my actions.

i liked yam who, but i really liked fuzz against junk. i was a nuphonic enthusiast and bought almost all the records and really hoped for a fuzz against junk LP, but it never happened.

been curious about this one for a while, does anyone have one? would love to hear it.

Didn’t know yam who and fuzz against junk were connected. Two of my favourite records right here, RIP.

Not sure if it got mentioned at the time but found out today Jerry Butler passed away last month. Shocking few weeks……

if the opening of ‘in your eyes’ doesn’t make you tingle all over there’s something wrong with you

I didn’t realise they were connected either.

Is that really the Harvey remix of that track? It sounds more like the other side is a remix of this side? That’s what I’ve always thought. Recently found that they were labelled the other way round and assumed that it was labelled wrong!

Agree that would make sense!

Not heard that Starlight re-work although it is somehow in my wants already. Not cheap is it? It doesn’t stray very far at all from the original so I’ll stick to that I think
