Jim Gordon, brilliant session drummer, but also a paranoid schizophrenic who murdered his mother.
Very very sad story how it all ended up for him, but while he was active he was a damn human metronome and is on a LOT of influential recordings.

Tom Middleton made a few calls once to try and reform The Incredible Bongo Band. Soon became apparent it was a total non-starter. A sad bunch all round, i think.

He was everywhere! Very sad story. If I remember correctly he did the drum solo on Nilsson’s “Jump Into the Fire”
which means that he played drums on the orb’s “little fluffy clouds” as well (by sample proxy).
