50,000 is a huge amount but bear in mind the following. A lot of sessions with people like scratch would lay down at least 15 tracks in a day- particularly the rhythms. Then you factor in that a rhythm would be used sometimes at least 50 times- just think of the under me sleng ting which has been used 450 + times - and you get some idea of the scope and potential scale of his basslines being used on recordings. …
