I built, produced, designed, whatevered that!

Thought we could have a thread to show off our creativity in whatever form.

Today I built a thing for my records and it works great for 45’s.

Quite chuffed with how it came out.

I made a rocking chair out of wooden clothes pegs, and a misfiring crossbow in our Crafts, Design & Technology class, but that’s about it. Sadly no pix to substantiate these bold claims

This was my final in high school. Still works, my wife hates it.

I like a bit of this. Been making presents for friends and family and furniture for myself when i can. Ive discovered my style is ‘what if Gondor had an Ikea’ but it keeps me out of trouble

As you can see, I never got round to putting in the front panel of the limp mass membrane absorbers. I simply ran out of energy, it’s been about 12 years of work on and off, if any TP crew are heading over to Chang Mai you can use the studio free if you help me finish the panels!

Full euro rig for added context

What was the ply used for these builds mate ? Looks great, I love the dado rabbet joints.

Very nice! I like the copper studs/nails. What are they and where did they come from?

Thanks Man. The nails are from a place called ‘celticforge’on etsy. They’re electroplated steel to make them easier to work with.

Wife said I should show you that it’s 5 pieces, no glue, no nails etc.

when she said ‘I bet your internet friends would like to see it’ was there a slight patronising tone? :grinning:

Does she have any other tone when it comes to records and all related nonsense that goes with it? Nope.

love em’ all. had to zoom into the NWW list one, but what a cool idea.

the ultramarine one needs one of those soft tie-dye jobs they do now, not the deadhead explosion but the dreamy cloud wash.
