Puba so underrated as an MC
Both Sa-Ra LPs are good and sonically intricate in a beautiful way
lately, this is one of the few “authentic” hip-hop albums that i’ve heard
This is one of my current faves. Always knew the Kruder and Dorfmeister version but only checked the original recently. Loving the being boiled sample
I love that album, I like their debut but I feel they really step up on The Main Ingredient.
Good album, I really need to give it a spin as its been a while.
I love the tracks Swing, I used to play it out:
I love their first three albums such an incredible three album run, the following albums tend to split opinions more but no question they first three are solid and I played Beats Rhymes Life the other day and it was a lot better than Id previously given it credit for.
For me, Vince Staples is a force of nature. His debut “Summertime '08” is dark, relentless but also very hypnotic as a whole for listening via headphones:
And everything Ka is doing:
his personality really shines in his rbma lecture:
How this LP wasn’t massive is beyond me

Tek9 UK crew. The whole LP “Simply”
Big MF DOOM here. Sad about his passing. Still get goose bumps listening to kid’s black bastards, one my favourite albums.
Any west London peeps here, I read an old interview with him and he says he was born in Heston/ Hounslow area, down the road from i where I went to school.
This album from a couple months ago is very good, gets deeper every time I listen to it:
My bad lol *edited
One of my favourites albums in 2019
Didn’t they release something recently? Not sure it was as good as their early EP’s though. They were on fire for a while but then went very quiet.
Yeh the vocal version of Bandana is the only new hip hop album I’ve bought in years. The tiny desk is worth a watch
