Some finds I’m keeping
Fanatstic, enjoying going through these online.
Not burning gold plated fuel traveling for digs, unless big potential for a big find or ten. My friend did travel out to a well known charity shop and got this for a quid yesterday. He was long overdue a hit.
There’s still disco gems out there.
Mate of mine picked this up on 7 at a boot sale a few years back for 50p, I get excited whenever I see that Logo label in the wild but it’s never the China Burton…
There was a copy of that in the record shop near me for £50 for ages, stuffed down the back of a load of metal LPs. Too pricey for me but someone must have swiped it, wasn’t there last time I went. Good charity shop find!
It is for sale, although I don’t want to abuse the forum facility. You can certainly trust my grading.
I had no idea what it goes for now! My word. I should have got the £50 one…
Thanks for this Tim. Much appreciated! X
This has some good bits on it. Interesting rabbit hole to go down for early electronica fans.
Hoping for a better day tommorow, plus there have been some finds of merit at the 50p to £1 price point since I last posted.

A major weekend of digging. These are the keepers. Car boots, charity shops, and a couple from Ben’s in Guildford too. Mostly car boots though. Finds of the weekend are the David Crosby, first press, immaculate nick, £3. Aphex £2. Shirley first press, £10.
Incredible how many records were around this weekend, and I even missed out on a fair few too.
Other finds from the weekend are going up on my Instagram stories for good prices. Fair bit of disco.
Part one …
Shoot from the heart on Judy Tzuke, Fallout Series 2 (Ella Purnell) for Marty Robbins, Premium Hi NRG from Lisa, better on the Moby Dick pressing.
Sandra Reid for the don’t tell me it’s over cover, the 12 inch of this is the stuff of dreams that gets me out of bed for 6am bootsale season. It was £9 but a bargain even for my moth wallet.
I’m partial to the b side ambient mix of Walking Down Madison, heard on the Balearic breakfast.

Visited Vinyl Dreams and the lovely @mikebee in San Francisco for a dig. Thanks for the great stock, and nice to meet you irl!
I’m not sure if groove merchant in the lower height is still there, but it also used to be a good place to scratch the vinyl itch. And is next to The Toranado bar……
Crazy good haul this weekend. All charity shops and boot fairs, nothing over £2. Golden times at the moment. These are the keepers.
Couple from the local car boot yesterday. First time in ages and hangover plus visit to the farmers market first meant I didn’t get there until 11am and some people were packing up. I missed out on all the Vertigo swirls obviously😁
Edit of ‘Who dares wins’ OST (SAS film) sounds a bit like Idjut Boys but too fast:best at -6

Been after a clean 12 of this

Plus some Congo Natty jungle stuff
Was a bit heavy handed warming the eggs back up. Lacking brown sauce too👎
Wild geese is Frank Tope I think.
Good find on the Cannonball 12, elusive for me so far.
