From a box of water damaged FAC releases. First box I hit as well.
I know that they are doing work on pushing out notification for when wantlist items come for sale. Otherwise, I believe your only option is a daily/weekly email for items are added. The daily email starts to be too much (in my opinion) because there are some sellers that sell online and retail so they are constantly adding and taking down their stock which makes their items show on the new want list emails. I had to turn them off, but I spend a lot of time digging for records and can notice when new items are added. One day I’ll have a better hobby…
You know there’s a big box of mint, unsold Leslie’s……. Somewhere
Reminds me, when working in a shop late 90s and a distributer sent a sale list out so I bought one of these for .99p. 60pence after staff discount.

Definitely 20 mint copies in someone’s garage in a small Scottish town
£2 in a charity shop - OG pressing, hardly played. How it ended up amongst a load of Ray Coniff and Jim Reeves albums is anyone’s guess.
Five decent 12s for £10:
Big hard excellent fish - Weatherall mix
Depeche - Everything counts
Dinosaur L - Go bang
Roberta Flack - Uh Uh Ooh Ooh etc
Tom Tom Club - Wordy rappinghood
I’ve been super lucky lately. Today’s catch was these two for 17€ but quality over quantity :

7’’ version of this (not on 'gocs)
First car boot visit of the year, got the following for a tenner - nothing too special in there but happy with the Donna Rhoden, and the Fleetwood Mac is in better nick than my other copy.

That’s a great find, should go down well when played out.
Wasn’t going to venture out but have ended up with about 100 records since my last post! First bootsale of the year today filled an ikea sack. These were f-all all things considered, had to buy more or less everything to stop the seller quoting £5 for a Ottowan 12 inch.
Mighty 7 and Roundtree are great hot disco 12’s

Amazing haul that…
That Lou Reed is my favourite of his solo efforts as well, great record.
Lou-Reed might get some play at the record fair at the end of the month with other things outside of my normal zones. I think my friend has already got Bauhaus-Shes In Parties on his list to play out.
Mine too, it’s his masterpiece IMO.
Wow that Mighty 7 record is an amazing find. I sold my copy of this about 10 or so years ago for £25
Last two from ebay but were only £4 each, well…George Benson was a batch of three. This seller hasn’t got any more really good stuff left. The rest add up to about seven quid total, so still plenty out there at the boot. Queen for Cool cat, along with the Blow Monkeys as a standard Balearic boot haul.
Had a standoff with a dick head who walked up and started to try and go through the box I was browsing through, had to shout him down four times to back off before he cleared off.

Is Lorraine Johnson the pic sleeve of the blonde woman thats not Lorraine?
I think it would have come in a generic black sleeve as it’s a promo. All these singles from the ebay seller had been put into generic white card DJ sleeves with the title on top edge in biro. The nice company sleeves were long gone. I scored Goody Goody-Looks Like Love etc from the same seller and would like a promo atlantic sleeve for these.
I’m a big fan of glamourous disco ladies on front covers, it’s a bonus if they have roller skates as well…I hope Lorraine Johnson got paid even if not seen on this. I’d be more concerned by the blatant bootlegging and sale of all these disco classics, they still seem to be all over ebay if not Discogs
Decent little haul yesterday. Fair rather than bargain prices, still better than Discogs, and the sun was shining too.
