It’s just really nice on here. I used to read stuff on the site all the time last year - I was going through one of life’s tricky patches. And I remember at Christmas being really touched by how warm and friendly people were. Then I realized that I knew Hierbas from a festival that we go to each year and it encouraged me to chime in a bit more. I’m so glad that I did. A really great bunch of folk. Thanks everyone!

Made the decision to spend as little time as possible on Xitter and spend that time over here instead. Definitely one of my better decisions. Thanks to @Apiento for the heroic work. Making the works a better place!

This is the only place even slightly similar to social media I frequent as this is a rare site that gives something good into the online world, is ultimately based on the sharing of knowledge, and love for music and beyond.
Once you bin social media and engage with people around you, you realise that this place is actually truer to reality than the world created by tech twats with a God complex.
No one will look back on their lives and regret not having spent more of their time on Twitter.
