Monorail Music is good, as is the accompanying Vegan café Mono. Across the road from Monorail you’ve got The 13th Note which is a decent boozer and does good Vegan food also. Also has a live room downstairs with bands, variable quality.

Bloc+ is a decent trendy greasy diner, more oriented to the Rock/Student crowd but has two monthly live electronic music nights on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively Noise Box and Attack/Release, both of which I’ve played with my live Techno duo act. Great little sound system.

Everybody absolutely raves about Ubiquitous Chip restaurant, it’s a bit of a destination, lots of influencers/very Instagramable food if that’s your thing. We went there to see what the fuss was all about, it’s decent but not amazing. Quite spendy.

Fat Bhudda for clothes shopping.

Check the listings to see what’s on at The Berkeley Suite, Scottish home of ALFOS and a few other nights. It’s a great sweaty room.

No visit to Glasgow is complete without having tea and cakes at The Willow Tea Rooms on Buchanan Street. Charles Rennie Mackintosh designed interior, really old school service and very nice place to be!

I’ll try and have a think for more!

Lately we’ve been to (and can recommend) The Gannet, Crabshakk (seats at the bar is best imo) Mother India Cafe, Partick Duck Club. Loads of new spots cropping up on the Southside too

Sub Club (obvs)
Berkeley Suite

Rub-a-dub for tunes

Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum is so good as is Glasgow Museum of Modern Art

I’m not local so I expect some on here can elaborate
