In Ghent with family. Staying near Music Mania 2 record shop but wondering if anyone knows a place for more used dance music, disco, new beat. Found an antique / unusual shop with 1 box of great disco records on Sluizekenkaai but the selection was limited and I already own the great ones there so didn’t buy anything.
hey, when i was in gent i went to Wally’s Groove World, it was okay. can’t remember seeing too much new-beat tbh. oh sorry, that’s in antwerp not gent!
music mania 1 had a few boxes of new beat type stuff, but that was years ago, not sure if they still do.
i always check a few place in brussels. – main recommendation for brussles at the moment is Crevette Records amazing broad selection there.

The only place in Belgium that breaths and lives New Beat is Doc Vinyl in Brussels. The owner, Geert, was strongly involved in the creation of The Sound of Belgium, a movie by Jozef Deville.
